Naples is the closest airport to Sorrento.
You can fly direct from Philadelphia (PHL), Newark (EWR), New York (JFK), Chicago (ORD), and Atlanta to Naples Capodichino (NAP).
You can also fly to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). This is Italy's main international airport, so there are more direct flight options from the U.S. and it may be a more economical option.
