Wen & Alexa connected via Hinge. Alexa was leaving NYC for vacation for two weeks right after they connected, so their first date was actually on FaceTime! Alexa spent the entire vacation texting Wen and her family was immediately suspicious.

Our First Date - while we were connecting virtually for the first two months, Wen shared with Alexa that he never had NYC pizza. We quickly amended that issue by going to John's of Bleecker Street on our first date and of course ended the night with ice cream!

Our First Disney Trip - Wen learned a lot about Alexa on this trip, first about her love with the Philadelphia Phillies, that she was a true Disney adult, and that she could eat ice cream multiple times a day. I think during that trip, Wen knew he was committing to a lifetime of Disney trips

Our first International Trip! We traveled to Grand Cayman for a week for our first trip. This set the foundation for all future trips - Wen would plan and Alexa would enjoy his hard work!

Wen & Alexa move to South Jersey, close to Alexa's family, where Alexa started her first of two research years in pediatric surgery (while Wen was her biggest fan). This has allowed us to enjoy a life outside the city, spend more time with family and childhood friends, and discover new hobbies and interests.

First Trip to Italy! At this point we knew we would be spending the rest of our lives together. We fell more in love during our time in Italy and we knew this is where we wanted to say "I do."

Travel to China! Wen lost his amazing father at the end of January 2025. We were able to travel to China together to say our final goodbyes and spend time with family. We miss Wen's dad dearly and will be honoring him along with other loved ones on our special day.

She said "YES!" With the background of Cinderella's Castle, Wen got down on one knee to ask Alexa to marry him and of course, she said "YES." Our own fairytale knowing that we get to spend the rest of our lives with each other!
