Help! We need assistance with planning our travels!
No worries, while Tom & Michele are always more than willing to offer their recommendations (sometimes unsolicited), our wedding planner offers a concierge service to assist with planning your travels and is available to answer any questions. Please contact them at admin@weddingplannersorrento.co.uk
What is the dress code?
Formal attire!
Are children welcome at the wedding?
You know few people love kids more than Alexa. However, we have decided for the actual wedding night we will not be having little ones. We will be working with our wedding planner to organize childcare for the kiddos joining you on the trip.
That being said, we would love to have the little ones join us for the welcome dinner on Thursday and brunch on Saturday.
What is the best way to get to and from the wedding ceremony and to and from the wedding venue?
We will bet getting married in a Catholic Church in Positano and our venue is located in Sorrento. We plan to provide transportation from central locations in Sorrento to the church and from the church back to the pick-up points at the end of the mass. More information on exact pick-up times and locations to follow.
Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?
Our ceremony will be inside. Weather-permitting & God-willing, the reception will take place outside.
What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after party?
The reception will end at 12am. Since 12am is already way past our bedtime, there will not be an after party, but we look forward to continuing the celebration on Saturday.
Will be there a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes. We made the decision to do the earlier mass, so we could spend more time with our guests in the evening at the reception. There will be a few hour break - during time feel free to return to your hotel to rest, have lunch, debrief about the wedding thus far, etc.
What is the best way to get to Sorrento?
See travel tab for information you need on nearby airports, how to get from the airport to Sorrento, as well nearby hotels!
Could you suggest things to do while in Sorrento?
Whether this your first time in Italy or your 100th, there are so many things to do and so many beautiful places to see. We hope you have the opportunity to explore areas along the Amalfi Coast as well elsewhere in Italy. See the "Things to Do" tab for more information and suggestions!
Who can I contact for more information?
Feel free to reach out to either Wen or Alexa for more information! Although you will probably have better luck with Alexa.
